Tournament History: This is Delhi ’s 20th and final year hosting the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III Men’s Basketball Championship. Division III represents 97 junior colleges that do not award basketball scholarships.

Tournament Host: State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi.

Tournament Sponsor: Delaware County Chamber of Commerce.

Tournament Schedule: Four games each day (March 11, 12, 13)at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 6 p.m., and 8 p.m.

Championship Game: Saturday, March 13, 8 p.m.

Seating for approximately 8 accredited members of the media is available center court at press row. Contact Kim MacLeod to arrange.

A media room has been established for post-game interviews in the Athletic Department office suite. Arrangements can be made to interview each head coach and up to two players per team, beginning 10 minutes after the end of each game. If you would like to arrange an interview, please notify Kim MacLeod no later than 10 minutes into the second half of each game. The order for interviews will be winning coach and players first, losing coach and players second.

Detailed statistics should be available following the completion of each game. Statistics will be available in the Athletic Department office suite.

Team awards (eighth, seventh, sixth, fifth places, etc.) will be given at the end of each game on Saturday. The Most Valuable Player Award will be given out in conjunction with the awards ceremony that follows the championship game on Saturday night.

Telephones are available at press row for reporters filing stories. Please note that if you are using a cellular phone, reception may be stronger outside of Clark Field House. There is no Nextel Cellular Service from the Field House.

FAX transmitting and receiving capabilities are available in the Athletic Department office suite in the Clark Field House. The FAX number for incoming transmissions is (607) 746-4119.

Audio broadcast fees are $100 per game. This fee does not include phone hookup service. Payment is to be made prior to game. Please contact Kim MacLeod to make arrangements.

Video broadcast fees, including video internet streaming, are $100 per game, $300 for the tournament. Payment is to be made prior to the first game to be taped. Please contact Kim MacLeod to make arrangements.

Internet access is available courtside through the college’s wireless network by using an 802.11b/g wireless card. You may also arrange for dial-up through the Delhi Telephone Company. Please see Kim MacLeod for more details.

Accredited members of the media are invited to the Tournament Hospitality Center in the Bearsch, Compeau, Knudson Conference Room, located in the Athletic Department office suite. Complimentary beverages and snacks will be available during halftime of each game. You must display your press pass to be admitted. Also, a concession stand is open to the public during each game in the lobby.
